The Wanted have signed up to appear on a new reality TV series in the US, following in the footsteps of fellow Brit pop stars The Saturdays, who have also launched their own show in America.

The show will air in June 2013 in American and later be shown on TV networks globally. Titled The Wanted Life, the show will follow the boyband's attempts to cement their position in the US market, having already scored Top Ten chart success with their single 'Glad You Came'.

The boyband are moving to the Hollywood Hills where they will share a house, and E! will film the boys around the clock as they work and party in America.

To coincide with the launch of the TV show, The Wanted will release 'All Time Low' in America. The track was their first UK single and scored the five-piece a No.1 single.

The show will show the boyband recording their new album in Los Angeles and promises to 'bare all' and be 'one of the most riveting reality TV watches of 2013'.

Will you be watching The Wanted Life?

The boyband have previously revealed that they are planning on a new track with Chris Brown, which is likely to appear on the new album.

In a series of comments, Jay McGuinness told The Metro in November 2012. "Chris Brown really wants to get in the studio with us and we're going to go out there before Christmas to sing and write.

"I think it's been really hard for him to shake it [the assault charge]. I mean, we'll possibly get a backlash. He still gets a lot of flak for everything that's gone on.

"We are nervous but if the song's a good song it's our song as much as it is his as well, but, yeah, it's something we're definitely thinking about."
