Marilyn Manson's fans were left first confused and then worried when the singer collapsed on stage during a show in Canada on Wednesday. See a video of the incident below.

Manson was playing to fans in Saskatoon, Canada, last night and was half way through his hit 'Beautiful People' when he stopped singing, turned to the side and keeled over.

The band continued playing leaving some fans thinking it was part of the stage show.

But when stage hands rushed on stage to tend to the shock rocker it became clear that it was no joke, and fans became concerned for his health.

Manson was eventually helped off stage, and there have been reports that he vomitted on stage but it's unclear exactly what happened from the footage available.

Many fans have taken to Twitter to express their concern and send their best wishes.

One resourceful fan contacted the singer's father, Hugh Warner, to ask if he was OK saying, "Some girl told me that you said to her that he's okay...good news" to which Warner replied "Flu bug".

Manson is currently in the process of suing a woman for defamation after she claimed he was pro-Nazi for denying her claims that they were engaged.
