James Blake has revealed that his second album, Overgrown, will be released on 8 April this year.

The first single to be released from the album will be 'Retrograde', which is available from Monday 11 February.

It is also due to be played on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show tonight at 7.30pm, as his Hottest Record in the World.

Overgrown is the follow-up to Blake's 2011 debut self-titled album, and 'Retrograde' apparently "earmarks him out as the successor to the thrones long since vacated by Massive Attack and the Aphex Twin."

Blake has an upcoming US tour, which includes playing at both the Coachella and Primavera festivals.
