Adele has treated her grandmother, Doreen Adkins to a £23,000 luxury caravan for her 70th birthday just weeks after splashing the cash on a £600,000 London apartment for her mum, Penny Adkins.

It should come as no surprise that Adele is keen to buy lavish gifts for her loved ones as it was revealed earlier this week that the 24-year-old singer earns around £41,000 a day and has £10.3 million in the bank.

The pop star purchased a Lunar Delta RS for her grandmother, who is said to be ecstatic with the birthday gift.

One of Doreen’s neighbours told the Daily Star: “Doreen was over the moon. [She] loves spending weekends at her local caravan park in Essex with her dog, and Adele often visits - even now she's an international star.

"It might seem weird for Adele to be going from the Oscars in LA to a caravan park near Clacton-on-Sea, but she loves it. The two of them walk the dog together and catch up.”

Adele won’t be able to buy a new home for her nan as Doreen apparently has no interest in moving from her terrace house in Essex.

The neighbour continued: "Doreen has lived in her terrace house for more than 30 years and has no intention of moving. Adele knows Doreen's not interested in the celebrity lifestyle."
