Rapper Lil Wayne has accused bosses of the American Airlines Arena of kicking him out of the venue during a basketball game.
Wayne was at the arena on 10 Feb in order to watch the game between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, but has said that police threw him out of the venue.
He wrote on his Twitter account, "So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat."
Online reports are suggesting that Wayne was involved in an altercation with a fan.
Twitter user Senor Danny Vega, who apparently attended the event, wrote, "Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game. Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun. LOL what a douche.
"Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture.
LOL @LilTunechi saying he got kicked out #MiamiHEAT game for being a #lakers fan. Its cuz he made a gun gesture at someone. Around white ppl."
However, a spokesperson for Miami Heat told TMZ, "In response to your inquiry, please note that Lil Wayne was not ejected from the building. He chose to leave."
