Adele has spoken about working on a new album, saying that she isn't 'very far along at all' with it.

The singer, who won a Grammy award for Best Live Performance, has said that the record is still in the early stages and so far, she's just been having lots of meetings.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Adele said, "I'm not very far along at all. I'm having lots of meetings. I've been in L.A. the whole time since the Globes and I'll be here till the Oscars.

"So I'm having lots of meetings, but I've been out of the loop, really. I've just been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don't really know what's cool and what's not."

However, the 'Someone Like You' singer added, "I'm definitely going to visit with Paul Epworth and talk about doing that again."

She also added that she's not particularly looking forward to her performance at the Oscars, saying, "I'll be s**ting myself!"

Adele went on to talk about motherhood, saying that having a baby has actually helped to reduce her stress.

Adele hopes to collaborate with Paul Epworth again on her next album

She told the magazine, "It's nice, I haven't been as stressed out. You have to prioritize what you get stressed about when you have a child.

"I've been getting my mind around it. Normally I love getting my hair and make-up done, but this time I was like, 'Get off, get off!'"
