Kimberley Walsh says that Noel Gallagher told her that she was his favourite member of Girls Aloud.
The High Flying Birds singer tried to book Girls Aloud for a Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall, but unfortunately the band already had a tour planned for that time.
However, Noel did tell Kimberley that she was his favourite member of the girl group during the phone call.
Kimberley told The Sun, "The Girls Aloud tour is around the same time so we couldn't make it work. I'm gutted that we can't do it."
However, she went on to say, "[Noel] called me up out of the blue. It's great that he's involved and is arranging it. It was exciting to speak to him. I was like, 'Really?'
"He said I was his favourite [Girls Aloud member] and Sarah wasn't very happy about that."
Kimberley went on to talk about rehearsing for the Girls Aloud tour, saying that it is less intense than her rehearsals for Strictly Come Dancing or when she performed in Shrek.

The Girls Aloud star said, "We have a choreographer and creative director who have sorted the stage set and visuals. We're happy with that.
"Then we get into outfits and dance moves. And we have to try to remember all the words to the songs.
"It's always fun with the girls. It's not as intense as Strictly or Shrek because we all know our stuff, we are just perfecting it, getting it to the best level. There is a lot of banter."
