The Ukrainian reporter who interrupted Adele on stage at the Grammys has been arrested.

The man has been identified as Vitalii Sediuk, and is the same man who attempted to kiss Will Smith at the Russian premiere of Men in Black III.

Sediuk was arrested on Sunday (10 February), after interrupting Adele's Grammy-winning moment. He reportedly made it past security at the event at the Staples Center, and sat in a seat in the second row which had been meant for Adam Levine.

When Adele won the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance, Sediuk ran on stage and said "Congratulations," into the microphone.

He was brushed aside by Jennifer Lopez, who was presenting the award with Pitbull, and followed Adele off stage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sediuk was detained by security after the prank and was arrested. He is due to appear in court on trespassing charges next month.

Sediuk previously made headlines when he attempted to kiss Will Smith on the red carpet at the Russian premiere for Men in Black III.

Will Smith then slapped Sediuk, after trying to push him away twice. Speaking about the incident later, he told David Letterman, "I didn't beat up a guy! We're doing an interview and he says, 'I'm your biggest fan, can I have a hug?'

"So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me! It's just awkward."

Will continued, "The [red carpet officials] were saying, 'We're sorry, that's just his schtick'. Well that's why his ass got schtuck."
