The Postal Service have made a previously unreleased song available, named 'A Tattered Line Of String'.

'A Tattered Line Of String' is a previously unheard recording and the first new material from the band in ten years, since the release of their first and only album Give Up.

The track is taken from the tenth anniversary deluxe edition of Give Up, which will also include a new song called 'Turn Around'. Both songs feature Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley.

Other bonus tracks on the record will include a previously unreleased live recording, and every other official recording the band has ever released - as well as cover versions of Postal Service classics by The Shins and Iron & Wine.

The Shins will have a cover version of 'We Will Become Silhouettes', while Iron & Wine's version of 'Such Great Heights' will be included.

It will also feature a performance of 'Recycled Air', which was recorded live on radio station KEXP in 2003.

The band recently announced a reunion tour to coincide with the album, which will include Coachella and Primavera festival, as well as three UK dates. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.

Full European tour dates are:

18/05/13 Sat - Manchester UK @ Academy 2
19/05/13 Sun - London UK @ Brixton Academy
20/05/13 Mon - London UK @ Brixton Academy
