Eve has said that she doesn't think Britney Spears was the one to sing on the 'Scream & Shout' track with Will.i.am, despite the dodgy British accent that Britney used.
The rapper said that it 'might not be Britney', while on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, casting doubt on the vocals used.
In response to host Andy Cohen asking Eve about Britney's odd accent on the track, Eve said, "I heard that might not be Britney."
Cohen said, "Really? Why? It's someone else in the studio?"
Eve replied, "That's what I heard. But, you know, I don't know. It could be Britney. But I heard it wasn't. I don't know."
However, Britney's publicist Jeff Raymond told TMZ, "It's absolute BS. Britney sang the song. Will.i.am wanted her for this song and she sang on it."
A source also denied the claims to TMZ, adding, "Was Eve even in Studio? Didn't know. She's clearly jealous. I didn't even know she still sings."
Speaking about the accent to KIIS FM previously, Will.i.am said it just went with the "vibe" of the song since his career is "monstrous" in the UK.

The video for a remix of 'Scream & Shout' was released today, after a leak of the clip meant the premiere was moved forward.
