Ticketscript have apologised for posting a fake music event which led to rumours circulating today (February 15) that Justin Timberlake and Beyonce were set to perform an intimate London gig.
The event appeared on the concert tracking website, Songkick and seemed to show that the pop icons would play to just 500 people in small London venue, The Garage.
However, Ticketscipt have revealed that this isn't a real event and was never meant to be seen by the public.
The statement reads: "The event in question listed Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Toto as headliners at an event at The Garage. This is not a real event. Ticketscript would like to apologise for any confusion and inconvenience that this may have caused."
The statement continued: "This event was set up in the ticketscript system as a test event. Unfortunately the data was then connected to Songkick and was published on the Songkick website."
Details of the event were quickly removed, leaving fans confused as to whether it was actually going to happen.
Unfortunately, no such concert is in the pipeline and fans wanting to see Timberlake or Beyonce will have to see them separately.
Beyonce will NOT be performing with Justin Timberlake in London
Justin Timberlake has already announced a gig taking place at London's The Forum, in Kentish Town, on 20 February.
Tickets for the show are priced at £50, and will go on sale at 9am today via Live Nation and Ticketmaster. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
