Azealia Banks has revealed her own remix of “Harlem Shake’ complete with an accompanying video.

The clip shows the up and coming rapper dancing and flipping her hair in a studio while she raps over Baauer’s electro track.

Banks’ cover of the track was the catalyst for an argument between the rapper and blogger Perez Hilton which saw Banks controversially use the word f****t again.

The argument began after Baauer had the Banks remix removed from Soundcloud, prompting the rapper to call him a p***y.

Hilton then waded into the argument, digging at Banks and starting an exchange of words which ended with Banks labeling Hilton an “evil f****t”.

Banks has since defended her use of the word, saying it doesn’t mean homosexual male in the context she was using it in.

She also questioned why people didn’t have the same issue with the word n****r as a colloquialism but were not happy with her using f****t.

This is the second time banks has courted controversy with her choice of words, having previously tweeted that Hilton was a 'messy f****t'.

A multitude of fans have taken to the rapper’s Twitter over the last few days to both praise the track and support her argument about the use of the swear word.

'Harlem Shake' was released last year but has found commercial success in recent weeks after being used for a YouTube clip that has been spoofed by people around the world.
