Emeli Sande and Adele are currently the bookies' favourites to take home awards at this year's Brit Awards event.

Sande's debut album Our Version of Events is the Best British Album favourite with odds of 1/6 from Paddy Power.

Adele's 'Skyfall' is also rated highly, as it is currently predicted to win Best British Single with 1/5 odds.

Other hotly tipped artists include Ben Howard, favourite to become the Best British Male at 2/7 and Mumford & Sons whose odds of 1/3 would suggest they will take home Best British Group.

Outside shots to take home a Brit award are Alt-J's An Awesome Wave at 16/1 and Any Winehouse with odds of 8/1 for Best British Female.

The ceremony will take place at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday, February 20 with the likes of One Direction, Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift.

Comedian James Corden will be hosting the event.

Justin Timberlake is confirmed to be performing his new song 'Mirrors' at the upcoming 2013 BRIT awards.

The singer debuted the track after his set at the Grammys on 10 February and it must have gone down well, as he is now performing it at the BRIT awards  - ahead of his London concert at Kentish Town's Forum.
