Elton John has asked Emeli Sande to perform at his annual Oscars viewing party this year.
The party, which raises money for the star's AIDS foundation, takes place in West Hollywood - and this year Emeli will be performing.
In a statement, Elton said, "Emeli’s album, Our Version of Events, is a true work of art and a favourite of mine.
"When she is on stage, you can feel her passion for music and the heart that goes into her lyrics."
He added, "I can’t wait to introduce Emeli to my guests and experience her live performance together. I predict that by next year, she will be a multi-Grammy Award winner."
Emeli said of the event, "I’m absolutely delighted to have the chance to work with Sir Elton again and to help support the amazing work he continues to do with his foundation.
"I was lucky enough to perform at his Winter Ball recently and I’m sure this will be as memorable a night."
Emeli will join Elton in LA after attending the BRITs, which take place tomorrow.

The singer is currently the favourite to win the Best Album award at the BRITs, with odds of 1/6 from Paddy Power.
Adele's 'Skyfall' is also rated highly, as it is currently predicted to win Best British Single with 1/5 odds.
Other hotly tipped artists include Ben Howard, favourite to become the Best British Male at 2/7 and Mumford & Sons whose odds of 1/3 would suggest they will take home Best British Group.
