Nick Cave seemed to be taking on a Twitter Q&A session against his will recently as the singer gave some angry responses including telling one fan to 'f**k off'.
The Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds frontman was only on Twitter to help publicise the band's 15th studio album Push The Sky Away and it became quite clear that he would rather have been doing anything else.
He wrote, "Whatever it is I’ve been roped into doing, I’m starting now.”
Cave was asked a number of serious and not-so-serious questions that produced some comical, but cutting, replies.
At the beginning of the session Cave wrote, "I am hating this... beyond measure and I haven’t even started yet," and added it was "bulls**t".
When Twitter user, Joe Gamble asked the star what he should have for dinner, Cave replied, "your wife" and told one follower to "f**k off" after being asked whether he would rather be a man with a dog's head or a dog with a man's head.
It doesn't look as though Nick Cave will be returning to Twitter any time soon
However, the 55-year-old did give away some insightful answers to the more serious questions, saying he was most proud of writing 'Jack The Ripper' and his favourite album was Nocturama, "mostly because everybody hates it, someone’s gotta look out for it”.
He also added that the best artist he had ever seen was Nina Simone and described Johnny Cash's cover of 'The Mercy Street' as "a beautiful thing".
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' latest album Push The Sky Away is availble now.
