Everyone's favourite bearded Scotsmen Frightened Rabbit have unveiled a new video for 'Backyard Skulls'.

The single, taken from their critically acclaimed Pedestrian Verse, sees Scott Hutchinson characteristically wailing over a determined, marching beat and scratchy guitar sounds.

The video is set amonst the fallout of a school dance, with tearful prom queens fleeing the scene and drunken teenagers asleep among fallen streamers as an elderly janitor sets about clearing the hall while Frightened Rabbit (here dubbed The Frightened Rabbits) perform on stage.

Enlivened by the band's music the janitor begins to break into dance, eventually, climatically breaking into a whirling breakdance.

Teenagers gossip and sulk while the janitor loses himself to the music in a simple but entertaining video for another great song taken form an exceptional album.

The band's decision to leave beloved indie label Fat Cat and sign with a major was met with scepticism from some fans, but when Pedestrian Verse arrived it silenced all doubters.
