One Direction have millions of fans the world over - but folk-rockers Mumford & Sons are not among them it would seem, having reportedly ignored the boyband at this week's BRIT Awards.
The boyband tried to congratulate Mumford backstage at the event, after losing out on Best British Band to the 'I Will Wait' stars.
But apparently, Mumford didn't have time for One Direction and just didn't want to acknowledge them.
A source told the Mirror, "The bands were passing in the corridor and 1D made an attempt to chat to them and say there were no hard feelings about them both winning different categories.
"But Mumford were having none of it. They didn’t want to know. It was really awkward and everyone noticed."
Louis Tomlinson said at the afterparty, "It was disappointing. Mumford’s reaction was disappointing.
"We’re really big fans and wanted to congratulate them. It was a shame."

Mumford & Sons even made a comment about One Direction when winning their award, saying, "We weren’t really expecting that.
"I mean, we’re in a category with Muse. And One Direction."
