Harry Styles was struck in the groin with a shoe at a One Direction show when an over-excited fan hurled her footwear at the star during the gig. See a video of the incident below.
The singer is used to fans throwing items onto the stage - particularly bras - but wasn't prepared for a fan throwing a single shoe.
Harry asked the crowd why they threw only one shoe, leading to the fan to throw the other shoe - which hit the 'Little Things' singer in the crotch.
The 19 year old doubled over before collapsing on the stage, leading bandmates Liam Payne and Zayn Malik to try and help him.
Harry turned out to be fine after a few moments and managed to continue on with the concert.
The boys were recently asked what the weirdest gift they've ever receieved is, to which Harry replied, "A box of mushrooms dressed like us."
Louis Tomlinson added, "The weirdest gift I've been given was a live hermit crab."
One Direction have been having a hard time of it lately - shoe related incidents aside, the band reportedly weren't popular when they attended the BRIT awards.
According to Ben Howard, "It was definitely a pretty tame award show. There weren't many rock groups there.
"You heard this audible groan around the hall when One Direction were up for Best Group."
