Kanye West has confirmed that he is indeed currently working on new material, and says it will be ready for release is a matter of months.
After the Grammys earlier this month The-Dream let slip that he was due to fly to Paris to work on a new Kanye record, but wouldn't be pressed on further details. But at his show at Zenith Paris kanye himself informed the crowd about his forthcoming material.
"I wanna tell y'all that I'm working on some new shit," he told the audience. "It's gonna be out in a couple of months."
The show in Paris was the latest in a series of impromptu performances from the rapper which saw him play two shows at London's Kentish Town forum on Februay 24 and 25.
At his Saturday night show Kanye took the opportunity to launch into a rant, attacking Justin Timberlake and music-sponsoring corporations.
"I got love for Hov, but I ain't fucking with that 'Suit & Tie'," he told the audience before focusing his anger on the corporations.
"They trying to put their logos on every concert and shit. For the meet and greet, you gotta meet the execs and their daughters. And they'll show you what they just bought her..."

He continues: "So you gonna help me put on a better show, corporations? Can you please support me? Please? Me, Kanye West. I swear I'm a nice leader now. I swear I'll put the pink polo back on. I swear to you. Please. Just for $3million. I need it so bad. I need a pool in my backyard! So I'll tell all my fans your shit is cool. And if they believe in me, then they'll belive in you."
He chose not to repeat his rant on his second night in London, telling the audience he'd 'got shit off his chest' the night before.
