Jake Bugg is no fan of One Direction, that much we can be certain of after a number of comments recently criticising the X Factor boyband, most recently at the NME Awards in London.
Speaking to ITV news at the annual bash, Bugg told the broadcaster, "I don't know how they can really be considered a band, to be honest. I'm not too sure. I think the more I play on it, it'll wind them up."
"They're there to look good," he added. "Music wise? I assume they don't have a clue.
"We'll just see. They might do. Probably the ugliest one is the best singer. He might know a couple of chords."
The spat started earlier this month when Bugg criticised those who liken 1D to The Beatles, saying they "must know they're terrible."
