Foals have told Enter Shikari to 'go f*ck themselves' in a short Twitter row after Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds tweeted that his band needed shots to 'wrench us out of the deep sleep they (Foals) put us in.'
Reynolds made the comment after Foals performed 'Inhaler' live at the NME Awards 2013, but have since confirmed that it was just a practical joke.
During the awards ceremony, Reynolds tweeted: "Foals just played and now our managers had to take the decisive action of ordering shots to wrench us out of the deep sleep they put us in."
Foals seemed to take offence to the jibe responding by tweeting, "Also enter shikari can go f*ck themselves, trampoline jumping twats".

However, the Oxford group and winners of Best Track at this year's NME Awards later attempted to play down the argument.
Foals wrote: "100% horsemeat #nobeef".
Foals are currently on tour of the UK and Ireland whilst Enter Shikari are getting ready to head out on a 24-date UK tour throughout April and May.
