Gary Barlow has helped a fan with terminal cancer cross an item of her bucket list by performing at her home.

Barlow made the journey to Hampshire to see fan Steph Knight after learning that she has terminal bone cancer and has made a list of 50 things she wanted to do before she dies.

One of the things on her list was to see the singer perform up close.

So Barlow performed Take That's hit 'Back For Good' to the 21-year-old and her family in their living room.

Contact Music reports that Knight said: "Gary was really lovely, I'm very grateful. It was a bit surreal to see him in the living room. He sang 'Back For Good'."

At the end of last year Barlow announced he would be selling his record label, Future Records, so he has more time to spend with his family, though there have been suggestions that the label has in fact gone bust.

All of the artists signed to his label will be re-homed at the label's partent company Universal.

Barlow recently announced he is releasing a live DVD of his solo tour, includuing footage from his sell out show in Manchester.
