Adele is being lined up to sing a second Bond theme, after her 'Skyfall' track became one of the most successful soundtrack songs in the movie's history.
The Bond films finally won their first Oscar after 47 years in the making thanks to Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ which saw her pick up the Best Song award at this year’s ceremony in LA.
A source told The Sun: "Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success.
"They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley."

Pop icon, Dame Shirley Bassey was responsible for Bond's biggest and best hits including ‘Goldfinger’, ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ and ‘Moonraker’. However, none of these soundtracks even came close to Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ which sold three million copies worldwide.
Adele swept the board during this year’s awards season as she picked up an Oscar, a Brit Award and a Golden Globe, but her aunt Anita Adkins revealed the Academy Award meant the most.
She said: "We streamed it live online through the night. When Adele burst into tears, we all did the same. We’re all quite strong but we’re also very emotional. Adele’s one of us. We feel what she feels."
