Bastille won't be too glum about missing the singles chart No.1 this week with their 'Pompeii' single, as they are already on course to score a No.1 album this week.

After going on sale today, Bastille are currently No.1 and No.2 on the iTunes chart with the deluxe and regular version of Bad Blood. If these sales hold, Dan Smith and his London band are a surefire thing for a No.1 album.

Also new on the iTunes album chart is Dido, who's new album Girl Who Got Away enters at No.3 and Stereophonics' Graffiti On The Train - which lands at No.4 and No.5 on the iTunes chart, again with the deluxe and regular versions of their new album. Laura Mvula also scores an iTunes Top Ten album with her debut release, Sing To The Moon.

The UK album chart is in need of a shaking up, with Emeli Sande's Our Version Of Events the current No.1 and Mumford & Sons' Babel currently occupying the No.2 spot.

Bastille were competing for the No.1 singles spot with their single 'Pompeii' last week, but eventually lost out to US superstar Justin Timberlake and his 'Mirrors' single.

Bastille are looking likely to score a No.1 album this week with Bad Blood

Bad Blood is out now, and sure to set the band on the road to much bigger things.
