After the shock of a new teaser clip from Daft Punk, which lasted just fifteen seconds, fans have taken to Twitter in order to share their thoughts.
The video showed the famous Daft Punk logo slowly turning to face the camera, and turning into the two famous robot helmets at the end. It also had a backing track - which is what everyone's really excited about.
Apart from speculating whether longtime Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rogers is the one that can be heard playing on the track, fans seem unanimously in approval of the clip - despite only being able to hear fifteen seconds of it.
User jamesvandergeek wrote, "ok but actually daft punk's new 15 second release is the best new thing," with Kerry Davis saying, "Love it, disco vibes!"
Comparisons to other songs are rife. Omarkasturi wrote, "that "new daft punk song" sure sounds good, sounds a lot like discovery," and Allan Oliver posted, "People saying that clip from Daft Punk's new album is like a elevator song. Is that true, or they just don't know who is Daft Punk ?"
Fans are taking to Twitter to express their Daft Punk excitement
However, some are still determined not to listen to the teaser until they have the real thing. DJ Mat Zo posted, "I refuse to listen to any clip from the new daft punk album. Im ignoring the hype and waiting for the actual product."
Zo added a few minutes later, "Then when i get my hands on the new daft punk album ill bounce around like a 6yr old girl who just got a pony."
Judging by the 100 retweets, people don't seem to disagree.
