Keeping yourself entertained while you're laid up after surgery is never easy, but if you happen to be one of the world's biggest pop stars - like Lady Gaga - it's perhaps a little easier.
Lady Gaga has had 27 koi carp installed in a tank close to her bed to help her pass the time until her hip injury is healed, and it cost her more than £40,000.
The 'Fame' singer was forced to cancel the remaining 21 dates of her US tour recently after having surgery to fix a tear in her right hip.
The pain before her operation was so bad that the singer was unable to walk, and doctors told her she must have some serious down-time if she wanted it to get better.
So she had the fish shipped in especially from Japan and has had the tank set up nearby her sickbed to keep her entertained.
A source told The Sun: "Gaga said she'd had a dream about the fish so she had her team source some koi and set up a massive tank.
"The whole exercise cost over £40,000, which is a lot to most people but small change to her."
In Japanese culture koi are seen as symbols of love and friendship, and can live exceptionally long lives. One fish, owned by several different people, allegedly lived to more than 200 years old.
Lady Gaga recently thanked her fans for their support
Most of us might have to put up with day-time telly reruns when we're recovering, but Gaga can obviously afford to be a little more luxurious.
The singer recently thanked her fans - 'Little Monsters' - for their support and said it helped her ger through her surgery.
