One of 2013's most exciting new acts, The 1975, have announced their biggest headline show to date at the Shepherds Bush Empire.

The band will headline the Empire on September 20, and then play a hometown show at Manchester's The Ritz on September 21.

The 1975's two 2012 EPs, Facedown and Sex, created a buzz around the group, and they capitalised on this with a sold-out debut headline tour.

The Manchester boys will also be playing a host of dates in May which include a sold-out show at London's Heaven.

Their latest single, 'Chocolate', was released this week and is taken from their latest EP Music For Cars.

Gigwise recently caught up with the band to chat about the excitement surrounding them and their hopes for the future.
