Los Angeles concert promoters Live Nation LGTours, Mermaid Touring and The Atom Factory are suing three Lloyds of London insurance syndicates due a breach of contract over a cancelled Lady Gaga show in Indonesia.
The gig was cancelled due to a threat from Islamic hardliners who referred to Gaga as the 'devil's messenger' and stated there would be 'chaos' if she performed in the Muslin nation.
Jakarta Police refused to approve the concert last June after violent threats from the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who felt that Gaga performed wearing only a 'bra and panties'.
The concert promoters are seeking $75,000 in damages as they accuse the insurers of failing to pay out on a terrorism policy which they claim to have taken out in advance of the tour.

A copy of the lawsuit, published on the Hollywood Reporter accused the the insurers of "despicable conduct that subjected Plaintiffs to cruel and unjust hardship ...with the intent to vex, injure or annoy the Plaintiffs, such as to constitute oppression, fraud or malice."
The event had sold around 50,000 tickets and was part of Gaga's tour of Asia, but FPI Jakarta chairman, Habib Salim Alatas believes the cancellation to be 'good news' for Muslims in Indonesia.
Other flesh-baring acts such as the Pussycat Dolls and Beyonce have been allowed to perform in the country in the past as long as they wore more conservative clothes.
