Noel Gallagher and Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones have hit out at Justin Bieber and his tardy time-keeping after the Canadian star left thousands of fans upset when he was two hours late to his London gig this week (4 March, 2013).
Speaking at last night's Comic Relief gig at Wembley Arena, Gallagher claimed that he had no opinion on Bieber himself, but that his actions were unacceptable when dealing with youngsters.
"I would have been relieved if I was one of his fans," Gallagher joked, quotes Contactmusic, before criticising Bieber. "I would be [disappointed] because kids are crying. I don't really know a great deal about him. I don't have an opinion on him. But it's not cool."
Kelly Jones meanwhile shared his opinions on Bieber's behaviour in an interview with The Sun newspaper, saying the teen star deserved a 'slap' for his actions.
"If you can't turn up and get on stage on time then you deserve a slap," he tells the tabloid. "There's no excuse for that. He's probably got about 80 people around him, and if none of them have got a watch with all the money he's got then something's wrong, isn't it?
"The kids that are coming to his shows have got school in the morning. He should be ashamed of himself."

Bieber has been in the bad books with fans and their parents this week after he was two hours late on stage at his London O2 gig. Many fans arrived at the venue at 6:30, with Bieber scheduled to perform at 8:30pm. He did not take to the stage until 10:20pm, long after tears had begun to flow.
Due to the late running, many youngsters were forced to leave the O2 before the show began in order to catch trains home.
