Justin Bieber shocked fans at his London show last night (7 March, 2013) when he collapsed on stage during his O2 gig, and was later taken to hospital suffering with breathing problems.

The teen sensation was performing on stage when he leaned over and held his legs, going into a crouch. He then collapsed on stage, due to apparent breathing difficulties, and was taken off.

His manager Scooter Braun came on stage and told the crowd, "Justin got quite light of breath. The whole show he's been complaining, he's backstage with the doctor.

"They're telling him that they want him to go see somebody and see what's going on with his lungs. (But) He has just told me that if it's okay with you guys he's going to come out and finish the show. Alright?"

He continued, "So he might not be jumping around as much but if you guys could be patient with us. We're not trying to be disrespectful, we're not trying to get you guys home late. We're truly trying to put on a show for these beautiful people of London. Just bear with us - he's going to come out very soon and we'll do the best we can to finish the show."

After Bieber finished the concert, he was taken to hospital to get checked out, and posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account in a hospital bed.

He also tweeted, "getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love."

However, some fans are suggesting that it could all be a PR stunt. One posted on Twitter, "Justin Bieber was not sick, its a Publicity Stunt to make up for his late show."

And another said, "Justin Bieber publicity stunt collapse because he cocked up the other night by being 2 hrs late for his fans. Anything for sympathy."
