Bloc Party have unveiled a video for their new single 'Truth' made from fan-shot footage from their recent Earls Court show. Watch it below.

During the show at the end of February the band asked the audience to film their performance of 'Truth' using the mobile app Vyclone.

Vyclone allows multiple people at the same event to share their footage and recieved a multi-angle edit in return.

Bloc Party decided that the end result of fans' footage from Earls Court, made up of over 200 submissions from fans, was good enough to pass as the official video for the song.

As can be seen in the clip, some audience members were better at the filming than others, but some of the footage offers a touchingly intimate glimpse of fans experiences of the show.

While it might be missing some close-up shots of the band themselves, the footage actually does a pretty good job of providing a visual accompaniment for the song.

Vyclone is available as a free app and edits together footage from multiple users of the same event to create a complete video which is returned to users for free. It also allows users to remix footage of events even if they didn't submit footage to be included.

Last year saw Bloc Party make a return to music with their fourth studio album, appropriately titled FOUR, which reached number three in the albums charts.
