Rihanna cancelled the second concert on her current Diamonds tour, as she has been diagnosed with laryngitis.
The 'Stay' singer was supposed to perform in Boston last night (10 March), at a sold out concert, but had to reschedule it. Her concert in Baltimore tomorrow night is still set to go ahead.
LiveNation said about the Boston show in a statement, "Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."
Rihanna took to Twitter to share her disappointment at having to reschedule the concert, writing, "#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down.
"I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and all wishes!"
Rihanna could be planning a break from the music industry after she concludes this tour. US host Ryan Seacrest said, "She's been in this go mode for a while.
"Seven hit records in seven years. Sold out tours, but sources say after this tour wraps, she plans to take up to a year off to unwind."

Maybe the star is planning to spend more time with on/off boyfriend Chris Brown, who recently spoke to the Daily Star about their troubled relationship.
Brown told the Daily Star: "I love her and she loves me. That is what it comes down to. Our love is for life. We are meant to be together."
He added, "People criticise both of us but they don't know what we have. They don't know me. It used to bother me but it doesn't now. We have the right to make our own lives just how we want. We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world."
