Ronnie Wood: 'More Rolling Stones gigs? Watch this space'

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has fuelled rumours that the band are in line for more live shows later this year.

After celebrating their 50th anniversary with concerts in London and New York late last year, speculation has been rife about the veteran rockers returning to the stage for a new tour.

When quizzed by a fan during a Twitter Q&A as to whether the Stones would be playing any live dates in 2013, Wood replied "Watch this space."

Another fan asked Wood what it was like playing the anniversary gigs he responded "Not enough - get ready for more"

Wood's admission will only deepen speculation that the band are set to headline this years Glastonbury festival.


Ronnie Wood has dropped the biggest hints yet about more Rolling Stones gigs

In a recent interview with MTV News, Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno appeared to confirm the Rolling Stones for the Pyramid stage. "I hope ours is the most talked-about performance of the weekend, but that would be a miracle because the Rolling Stones are playing Glastonbury."

Festival organiser Michael Eavis has yet to confirm headline acts for this years event.
