The Cribs' frontman Ryan Jarman isn't about to join Kasabian and Jake Bugg in insulting One Direction - as he thinks it's too much of a cheap shot.
Jarman says that The Cribs don't have anything in common with One Direction, so he doesn't see the point in speaking about against them - despite the fact that One Direction won Worst Band at the NME Awards, while The Cribs won Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Talking about the X Factor boyband in an interview with Gigwise, Jarman says, "It's a strange fight to pick, for sure, you know, because it seems like a bit of a cheap shot, it seems like an easy target, so it's not something that I would do.
"I wouldn't particularly find them out because I wouldn't feel that I had any big rivalry with or anything in common with to begin with, you know - it seems very much like an easy target so I wouldn't do it."
He also added that One Direction are fans of the indie trio, continuing, "But the thing is, One Direction are fans of The Cribs, so they're good with me. I think that's cool.
"The fact that they're fans, I don't mind. I don't know anything about their band but it's cool by me."

One Direction seem to be finding themselves with a lot of support recently, as Hurts star Adam Anderson has also spoken out positively about the band.
Speaking to Gigwise, he said, "I think they seem like decent lads and they're having fun. If you were 19 and in their position then you would have fun. I think they should be left alone really. It's good for the equilibrium of pop to have boybands."
