Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z have been announced as joint headliners on the Sunday night of this year's Wireless festival.

While the pair are already performing separately at the event, the newly announced Sunday lineup will see a showcase of their joint Lengends Of The Summer tour.

The bill is a fairly rap heavy one, with Tribe Called Quest playing their first London show in 20 years, and Nas and A$AP Rocky also joining the lineup.

Friday July 12 will see Timberlake make a solo headline appearance with Snoop Dogg, John Legend Frank Ocean and Iggy Azalea appeaing on the same day. On the Saturday Jay-Z will make his solo appearance with a supporting cast that includes Kendrick Lamar, Emeli Sande and Calvin Harris.

This year will see the festival held at Queen Elizabeth Park, in the newly regenerated East End of London, for the first time following a move from its previous home in Hyde Park.

Chief Executive of London Legacy Development Corporation Dennis Hone said: "It’s a credit to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that this year’s Yahoo! Wireless Festival is the fastest selling in the event’s history and we are delighted that both Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, will be performing a third date here in July with a preview of their Legends of the Summer Tour.”

Tribe Called Quest haven't performed in the UK for two decades

Timberlake's new album, The 20/20 Experience, is now streaming in full on iTunes ahead of its release next week (March 18).

Tickets for the Sunday, July 14, date will be available from 9am on Friday March 15. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
