Nicole Scherzinger has spoken out about her hopes for a judge to replace Tulisa, saying that Jack Black would be her ideal pick.
While the former Pussycat Dolls star has said that she got on great with Tulisa, that hasn't stopped her from hoping that actor and musician Jack Black could join the panel. Jack Black is one half of comedy rock duo Tenacious D, along with Kyle Gass, and would certainly bring an interesting perspective to the show.
Speaking to The Sun, Nicole said, "I don’t know what’s going on with Tulisa, that’s her business. I had a great relationship with her. She did a brilliant job."
She continued, "A dream judge? I’d love to be back with the same ones but I think Jack Black would be great. He’s off the wall but knows his music."
Nicole went on to say that she enjoyed doing The X Factor. "I tried to be as real as possible in the show and people saw that and the goofy me," the 'Boomerang' singer said. "I had years of experience and I put my heart and soul into it.
"You Brits brought out the crazy in me. It was fun although I was working like a madwoman to make sure my boys were staying each week. It was unbelievable — they told me I had broken a record by having three acts in the semi-final — Rylan Clark, Jahmene and James. It couldn’t have gone any better that was one of the proudest moments of my career."

As far as returning to the show, Nicole told the paper, "We haven't had talks about it. I would definitely tickle with the idea. But I went out on a high last year.
"It was better than I expected. Right now I’m focused on my music and trying not to get ahead of myself."
