Reading and Leeds festivals have officially announced all three headliners, and fans seem to be having mixed reactions.
Last night, Green Day were revealed as the third Main Stage headliners, with Nine Inch Nails and Phoenix also amongst the bands being added to the bill.
Some fans seem overjoyed by the news, with Julie McAlister tweeting, "Holy moly. Never though I would say this but Reading fest this year looks wicked!" and Kourtney Beckwith writing, "Omg let me go to Reading Festival."
However, some fans were less pleased. Simon Price tweeted, "This year's Reading Festival line-up severely tests my 27-year unbroken attendance. Most of the acts announced, I'd cross the road to avoid."
Dan Parrott agreed, writing, "The Reading and Leeds Festival Lineups are so TERRIBLE. :/:/:/," and Saaj Sharma posted, "Leeds festival is some f**ked up outdated s**t!"
Aaron Addison wrote, "Reading lineup is shocking, although green day are playing, that changes everything."
User @Benem0th took a different perspective, asking fans to calm down and posting, "Idk why people are moaning about the Reading lineup, there's gonna be 9 stages. There's gonna be lots of variety so quit yer moaning."
