Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, has hit out at the UK media, claiming they are 'full of sh*t' after the US star's recent visit was marred with bad press.

After Bieber had a terrible week in the UK - including showing up on stage nearly two hours late, suffering from breathing problems and being involved in an altercation with a paparazzi - Braun has spoken up in support of the star.

"The British tabloids are full of s**t," Braun told E!. "There’s nothing wrong with him. He’s in a great place. Tell everyone Justin is good, really good."

He also responded to the claim that Bieber's Lisbon concert was cancelled due to poor ticket sales, saying that this was not true.

Braun said that the concert was cancelled because of a scheduling clash, adding, "It has nothing to do with anything other than that."

One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik also came to Bieber's support following the bad publicity.

Tomlinson took to his Twitter account to support the 'Baby' singer, writing, "Although I don't know him personally, I do wish the press would take it easy on @justinbieber.

"I really do empathise with him, I don't see anything out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know ."

Zayn replied to his bandmate, writing, "@Louis_Tomlinson what a dude man :D ha got your back bro !! @justinbieber"
