Dave Grohl confessed his love for Psy's 'Gangnam Style' while giving the keynote speech at SXSW.
Taking the stage at the Austin Convention Center yesterday (14 March), Grohl discussed his musical career and inspiration, his past with Nirvana and his love for 'Gangnam Style'.
After putting on a pair of glasses and telling the crowd "I hope I still look like a rock star," Grohl began the 50 minute talk. He said, "I can truthfully say out loud that 'Gangnam Style' is one of my favourite songs of the past decade."
Grohl went on to say that Foo Fighters have a stupid band name, saying, "Finding a good band name is still the hardest f**king part... Foo Fighters is the stupidest f**king name."
The Foo Fighters frontman also spoke about Kurt Cobain, telling an anecdote of Cobain telling an industry figure, "'We wanna be the biggest band in the world...'
"I laughed, I thought he was f**king kidding... How Kurt even thought we could make a ripple in this mainstream world of polished pop music was beyond me."
"When Kurt died I was lost, I was numb," he continued. "The music I had devoted my life to had now betrayed me. I turned off the radio, I put away my drums."

Last month, Grohl said that Foo Fighters are working on new music. Speaking with host James Corden at the BRITs Grohl said, "I return to Los Angeles tomorrow to start work on a Foo Fighters record."
He also revealed that he already had the album all planned out. "We have a plan, we know exactly what's coming next and I have the music for the next record and we're going to start working on it once we finsih doing all this stuff.
"We have really awesome, big plans for the next album and I'm really excited about it."
