Blue's Anthony Costa has admitted that he became bankrupt and homeless after the boy band split in 2004.
During the height of Blue's popularity Costa was living a life of luxury living in a £7,000-a-month countryside house whilst earning £250,000-a-month before Blue decided to call it a day and the star realised he hadn't planned for that to happen.
The singer was unable to keep up with his payments and was forced to move back into his parents' home as his income averaged around £45-a-week.
Costa told the Daily Mail: "It was an odd process. I went from earning £250,000 a month on a tour to £400 a month acting in Blood Brothers.
"I wasn't saving any of my money along the way and I had champagne taste with lemonade money in the end.
Blue have reformed for ITV2's The Big Reunion
"I thought Blue was going to last forever and any money I did have left at the end of Blue I wasn't advised on how to save it but I don't blame anyone for that."
Blue have now reformed as part of ITV2's The Big Reunion which as seen some of the most popular bands of the 90s get back together including Five, Atomic Kitten and Liberty X.
The pop four-piece will also be releasing their comeback album, Roulette on April 29 with lead single 'Hurt Lovers' set to be released a week earlier.
Costa added: "We are so grateful for this opportunity and thank everyone on the team at ITV and can't wait to get the new album out at home. Our first studio album in ten years - it's a proud moment for us and we believe it's our best album yet."
