The Voice judge, and newly bald pop singer Jessie J has hit out at talent shows who 'bully' their contestants, with her comments believed to be aimed at TV rival, The X Factor.
The star, who recently shaved her head for Comic Relief, said that she feels The Voice has credibility and so didn't hesitate to sign up for the show's next series.
According to The Sun, Jessie said, "If it was that bad I wouldn’t be back for a second series. I definitely wouldn’t be sitting in the chair if it was bad, if it wasn’t credible. It is a music show that celebrates and doesn’t ridicule."
She went on to make what seemed like a dig at rival talent series The X Factor, adding, "It is unrealistic, although perhaps fashionable, to compare any show that is brand new.
"The Voice is like nothing else, there is no bullying, pointing and laughing or editing to make people look horrific."
Jessie was the last of the returning judges to sign up for the show, but it wasn't to do with any credibility fears.

"For me, it was an amazing thing and a bad thing because I was so busy I had to choose – I had the option of writing a second album, do an arena tour, or sign up for The Voice," she said. "I had to ask myself if I wanted to turn on the TV and see someone else in my chair and I was like NO!
"That’s the diva in me, I worked hard for that and they would have had to scratch the name off the back of it. I said that I wanted to do it, but didn’t want to rush the second album but I’ve had enough time now to write a great second album and it would have been crap if I’d rushed it."
The Voice starts on 30 March and, as well as Jessie, judges Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Will.i.am will also be returning to the show.
