More about: Daft Punk
Daft Punk fans have been sent into a flurry of excitement after Sony music registered details of their new album with music rights agency, PPL.
Sony registered the album with PPL and Twitter account @edm have posted a screenshot which shows that there will be 13 tracks on the album, and a running time of about 74 minutes, 40 seconds.
While none of the tracks are named - meaning that there's still a lot of mystery surrounding the release - fans will be pleased to have some form of concrete detail about the release.
The 13 track album is registered to Daft Punk and recorded in 2013. The track lengths range from 3:48 on Track 4 to 9:04 on Track 3.
It seems like fans may have to wait until May to hear the album. The Guardian claimed in January that the album will be released in May, and Nile Rogers also hinted at a spring release date.
The screen grab is taken from PPL's website, and shared by Twitter account @edm
Some of these tracks could even be collaborations, as the duo have been rumoured to be working with Paul Williams, Chilly Gonzales and Animal Collective's Grizzly Bear.
However, it's still looking like fans will have to wait a few more months in order to find out.
No End: everything we know about the new Daft Punk album
