More about: Justin Timberlake
Fans of Justin Timberlake's latest album The 20/20 Experience could be getting a follow-up later in 2013.
Despite being called The 20/20 Experience, the record has only ten songs on it - which could mean that a 'sequel' with another ten songs is set to be released.
?uestlove, the drummer for The Roots, says that there is a sequel - and that it will be released in November. Writing on the Okayplayer.com messageboards, he told fans, "Spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol. 2 comes out in Nov. 10 songs now ... 10 songs later = 20 vision."
?uestove was writing in response to an article posted from the New York Times' review of the album, and went on to speak further about The 20/20 Experience.
"I admire the balls it took to make this record. Cause he coulda easily urshurd (sic) his work in and made diplo his teddy riley to 20/20's dangerous instead of sticking with timb's Quincy. feel me?" he continued.
"Justin said he wanted [Timbaland] to "get back in his real zone" even if it meant alienating the tweens born after 86 who never ever heard of the sly slick and wicked."
Justin Timberlake is soon to go on tour with Jay-Z
Timberlake recently performed a set at SXSW festival, on the final night of the event, and included a cover of INXS' 'Need You Tonight'.
He played new songs 'Pusher Love' and 'That Girl' but stuck mostly to his older material, closing the set with 'Sexyback'.
