Vampire Weekend are set to release their first new material since their 2010 album, Contra.
The band are expected to release a double A-side this evening (18 March), which will showcase two new tracks - 'Diane Young' and 'Step', which are the third and fourth songs on the album's tracklisting.
Vampire Weekend debuted 'Diane Young' at SXSW recently, and will be following up their appearance at the Austin event with a string of live shows in 2013, including a show at The Troxy in London on 8 May, 2013.
They will also be playing the UK date of Mumford & Sons' Gentlemen of the Road Stopover events, headlining the Friday night at Convent Fields in Lewes, England. The four other dates are taking place in Canada, Ohio, Oklahoma and St Augustine, and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros will replace Vampire Weekend to headline the Friday night event.
