Album chart toppers Bastille have been added to Liverpool's Sound City festival line up.
Bastille will bring their No.1 album Bad Blood to the midlands to close out the first night of the festival.Other acts confirmed today (Tuesday March 19) to join the Pompeii rockers include On An On, Temples and Duologue.
The new acts will join already confirmed bands Noah and the Whale, Everything Everything and Enter Shikari on the bill.
The event, which is the first official festival of the calendar year, runs from May 2-4 and showcases over 360 artists in over 25 venues.
Enter Shikari will also play Sound City Festival
Sound City festival also highlights up and coming acts with bands like Temples, the 1975 and Tea Street band playing over the course of the weekend.
Previous performers such as Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Florence and the Machine and Mercury prize winners Alt-J have gone on to enjoy huge success.
