Adele is said to be planning to marry her partner Simon Konecki - which might explain why she is taking so long in getting around to recording a follow up to her hugely successful 21 album.
US reports claim that the 'Someone Like You' star is planning to marry Konecki at a ceremony in Brighton later this year, in a summer or autumn ceremony. A source spoke to American gossip magazine Us Weekly, claiming to have inside information on Adele's personal life.
"She's been planning it for a while and is very involved," said the source. "Simon is the perfect partner and [her son] Angelo is just her life."
US singer / songwriter Ryan Tedder recently stated that there had been 'no discussions' about Adele's follow up to 21, despite the star herself recently stating she was keen to start work on a new record.

Recent gossip about Adele's busy schedule has been centered on anything but music, with recent reports stating that she is planning on spending her break between albums learning to drive.
A source told The Sun, "She’s never taken a test because of her busy schedule over the past few years. Now she’s back in the country she wants to use her downtime to finally pass her test."
The source continued, "She may have various awards to her name but all she wants is her driving test certificate. There will be no sportscars though – she is eyeing up a more family-friendly car so she can carry the whole clan."
