Fall Out Boy appear to have confirmed that both Courtney Love and Elton John could feature on their upcoming new album Save Rock and Roll.
The Elton John appearance had been speculated since last week when singer Patrick Stump tweeted a photo of himself with the singer, and added the caption "#saverockandroll," although it wasn't confirmed.
Ramping up speculation about guest appearances, bassist Pete Wentz tweeted, "wanna guess what blonde hair singer we got on the record?"
When a fan asked if it was Elton John, Wentz replied, "it's someone else in addition to Elton John."
Later, the Fall Out Boy twitter posted "It's @Courtney, b***h #SaveRockAndRoll." They included a video in which the Hole singer can be heard saying, "It's Courtney, b***ch," before the chorus "Rat-a-tat-tat, rat-a-tat-tat-tat!" kicks in.

Fall Out Boy recently shared the artwork for their upcoming record, which features a punk and monk.
Writing on Tumblr, they explained, " We came across the punk and monk image on the internet and it really solidified what we were trying to get across on the record - the idea of old and new clashing."
