US diva Christina Aguilera has offered advice to teen star Justin Bieber, advising the troubled singer to stand up against people trying to push him around.
The 'Genie In A Bottle' chart topper has shared her own experiences of growing up in the spotlight, and says it is important for young stars to take time away from the media glare - under which Bieber has lived much of his teen life.
"I would tell Bieber, don’t let anything morph you or push you around or have you be something you’re not," Aguilera tells US publication Hollyscoop. "I’ve always been really honest and true to my own roots and been really grounded, not letting myself stray too much."
"You live life and it’s hard to grow up in front of a camera," she adds, discussing her own upbringing. "You learn as you get older to take moments for yourself, step away from the camera, re-inspire yourself as an artist, rejuvenate and refresh."

Bieber's recent troubles started during his UK visit, when the youngster was kicked out of a London club for allegedly attempting to take a number of underage friends into the venue. He left fans in tears when he was two hours late taking to the stage at a show at London's O2 and was involved in a brawl with paparazzi as his stay came to an end.
He was reportedly thrown out of a hotel in Paris due to fan activity causing disruption outside the five-star destination.
