A judge has ruled that a fan obsessed with Rihanna has to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer and her home.

The permanent restraining order has been granted to the 'Diamonds' singer against Steveland Barrow, and will last for the next three years.

Rihanna requested the order after Barrow broke into her neighbour's home in Los Angeles, under the mistaken impression that he was entering Rihanna's property. The order was originally given as temporary last month, but has now been made permanent.

Previous reports said that Barrow said he had been emailed instructions on how to get into Rihanna's house, and that he slept in a bed which he believed to be hers as well as allegedly stealing property.

Rihanna claimed that she 'fears for her safety', although she luckily was not home at the time that the incident took place. Barrow was apprehended by a civilian, until the police officers arrived at the scene.

The documentary, titled Rihanna 777, will air on 6 May and is going to give viewers a behind the scenes look at the 777 tour - which saw the star aiming to perform seven shows in seven cities within seven days.
