It's the news that may strike fear into the hearts of some, as Usher has revealed that he is 'looking for a talent like Justin Bieber' during his time as a judge on The Voice US.
Usher signed Bieber to Raymond Braun Media Group back in 2008 and the singer has since become a global superstar, but has picked up his fair share of bad press along the way.
Usher told the Today show: "I don’t play the Justin Bieber card often. I had to pull it out maybe once. When you’re looking for talent that could be like [Justin Bieber] or greater, for me I take it seriously."
"Of course winning The Voice is ultimately the goal of the show. But really preparing incredible entertainers is really what I'm all about. Really artist development."
Justin Bieber sporting a gas mask whilst out in London
The Voice US judging panel consists of Usher, Shakira, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton has the series embarks on its fourth series.
Bieber is currently on a mammoth world tour that has been laced with controversy and included the singer marching through London in a gas mask, threatening to beat up a photographer and turning up nearly two hours late to one of his shows all on the UK leg of his tour.
Most recently, Bieber has been accused of battery as an altercation with his neighbour back in California almost led to a fist fight.
